Hello my friends

I've created a tutorial for you for a game portal. i am not a Photoshop guru but i hope you will like my work. I really like to have some feedback from you

For this game portal layout i will create a new document with the following sizes 760x770

I will download a brush set from
http://www.brush-mania.com/miscellaneous/christianity-brush

With Brush Tool



I will select a new brush with the following color #630000



On a new layer ( press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+N ) i will add some drawings with the brush tool



After that i will select a vector border with the following color #630000

And i placed the border like in the following image



I will add another vector border and i will add on the other side of the layout with the following color
#630000

This is my result



I will add another vector file with a head ( you will find all the vector files inside the archive )



I will select another vector image with some blood splatters (You will find the vector inside the download with this name vector_14)

Now i will add a image with a papyrus



I will duplicate this layer ( to duplicate a layer you need to select the layer, then press on CTRL+j ) As you see i have 4 copies


The next step is to add another vector file included in this download (vector _2) and I've placed the image with the following proprieties: OVERLAY and opacity 50%

I will add one more time the image from this file (vector_2) and i will rotate the image



I will place the image with this color # 630000



After that i will use another brush

With this brush set i will add some brushes on a new layer ( press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+N )



After you will place the brush on your layout you will have the following result



I will create a navigation bar on the top. If you notice i will use the same stock image with the papyrus paper

I will place the image on the top of the layout, then i will press on CTRL+T and i will stretch the image until i have the following result



Then with HORIZONTAL TYPE TOOL i will write some text



I will place the text like in the following image. I will not explain how to add the text but is very important how you will place he text. try to use always the font : Tahoma, Verdana or Georgia



Then i will add some images from my personal stock collection. i hope you like my game portal tutorial
