In this Adobe Illustrator tutorial i will create a nice looking vector tripod projection screen.
Let's start with a new document with the following sizes 400x500 pixels
With Rectangle Tool
I will create a simple shape
For this shape i will add a simple gradient. Using Gradients in your vector files will give a very nice look. I promise in a next tutorial i will show you how to create more complex tutorials.
The colors for this gradients are #CCCCC for the left side and #ffffff
And i will choose a stroke for this shape with the following color #CCCCC

Then i will select Rounded Rectangle tool
and at the top of the screen i will ad a round shape like in the following image
I will add a gradient for this shape
and for the stroke i will add the following color #CCCCCC
Then i will make another shape, and i will place vertically like in the following image
I will add also a gradient for this shape
One more time i will use Rounded Rectangle tool to create another 2 shapes
Now you have to bring the Pathfinder panel , and click on Unite button ( in this way you will compound the shape and add to shape area )
I will add also for this shape a simple gradient
This is my result so far
I will create a copy for this leg. To create a copy you need to press on CTRL+c, then click on CTRL+F to paste in front
I will Move the copy to the bottom. You will see my duplicated layer in the next image
I will right click on it, then i will chose Transform > Reflect
Then i will position the duplicated leg of this screen on the right side
I will select one more time Rectangle Tool, and i will create another shape with the following color #CCCCCC exactly in the middle of the big one
Then i will draw some lines with Line Segment Tool
I will place the lines like in the following screen shot
Then i will select Ellipse Tool
and i will create some round shape
I will choose some random colors Red - #FF0000 and Blue - #2E3192
This is my result so far
I will select one more time Line Segment Tool, and i will draw some lines from one circle shape to another one. I will create in this way a vector chart
With Rounded rectangle tool i will create another shape, and i will place it on the bottom of the vector screen
Also for this part of the screen i will add a gradient
This is my result
I will show you right now how you can add a shadow under the screen. I will grab Ellipse Tool, and i will create a shape like in the following image
Please note that you have to right click on this shadow, and choose Arrange > Send to back
I will go to file menu Effect > Stylize > Feather
This is my final result

I hope you like my work. please let me know if you have problems completing this illustrator tutorial for a projector screen
